Since the heat required for drying of the equipment is indirect heating by heat conduction, the drying process only requires a small amount of gas to take away the wet fraction, which reduces the loss of this part of the heat taken away by the gas, and improves the utilization rate of heat. It is suitable for the drying of granular and powder materials, and the paste materials can also be dried smoothly.

Working principle:

Paddle dryer is a kind of horizontal stirring dryer which mainly conducts. The main structure is a W-shaped shell with jacket which is equipped with a pair of hollow low-speed rotating hollow shafts, on which a number of stirring blades are welded, the jacket and the hollow stirring blades, and the heat carrier is passed inside, and the two heating surfaces heat the material at the same time. The heat carrier is usually fed from the middle of the dryer and discharged from the other side through the surface of the material layer in the state of agitation.

The hollow shaft is densely arranged with wedge-shaped hollow blades, and the hot medium flows through the hollow shaft.

The heat transfer area per unit volume is very large, the temperature of the heat medium is from -40 to 320°C, it can be water vapor, it can also be liquid type: such as hot water, thermal oil and so on. Indirect conduction heating does not carry the air to take away the heat, the heat is used to heat the material, and the heat loss is only the heat dissipation to the environment through the thermal insulation layer of the body. The heat transfer surface of the wedge blade has a self-cleaning function, and the relative movement of the material particles and the wedge surface produces a washing effect, which can wash off the attached material on the wedge surface and maintain a clean heat transfer surface during the movement.

Product characteristics:

● Compact structure: The main heat transfer components of the dryer are shovel shaped blades, which are dense and cross-arranged on a fixed rotation axis at specified intervals, so the heat transfer per unit volume is relatively high. For this reason, the structure of the device is very compact and the footprint is small.

● High heat transfer efficiency: due to the continuous mixing of raw materials, due to the relative rotation of the blade and the inclined blade surface as well as the heating and cooling of the body, it ensures that all surfaces in contact with the product can transfer heat evenly.

● Self-cleaning performance: Since the motion of the blades is relative rotation, they play a continuous self-cleaning role on the nearby inner surface. Products that stick to each other and accumulate on the blades can be removed and re-entered into the production process.

● Simple control: The drying process and residence time can be simply checked, controlled and adjusted. They can be individually set and adjusted according to the physical properties of the product to be dried, the number of shafts or blades, the speed, the temperature of the heat transfer body and the drying time are set and adjusted.

● Small dust and odor: Due to the small gas flow used in the drying process, the dust and odor that can be produced is also small. Therefore, the vacuum cleaner or deodorizer used with it is small or does not need to be used at all.

● Suitable for drying products with high humidity: due to the use of paddle type drying elements and continuous mixing, it is possible to dry materials with high viscosity and high humidity. Its structural design reduces the accumulation of products in dead corners and overheating or deterioration caused by product accumulation.

● There is almost no wear and material loss: the speed of the blade is very low, only 10 to 40 revolutions per minute, which reduces the abrasion and the rapid wear of the machine tool equipment brought about by the abrasion.
